You are part of a global team embedded in a strong, international procurement community with 150 colleagues. We are business partners within the company and work cross-functionally in close partnership with our stakeholders to actively shape the future of Dr. Oetker.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• As Commodity Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for the development and implementation of international purchasing strategies as well as for the implementation of the resulting measures. 
• Your tasks include the preparation of negotiation strategies as well as the execution and conclusion of international negotiation processes taking into account the TCO approach.
• You will manage international and cross-functional projects and work closely with the respective internal departments on optimization and projects specific to the commodity group.
• As part of strategic supplier management, you control the portfolio and the phasing in and out of suppliers.
• You prepare the annual planning and market reports for your specific commodity group. 
• You are responsible for international procurement marketing and procurement market research along the value chain.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have a university degree and several years of international professional experience in strategic purchasing. 
• You convince with your confident handling of MS-Office and SAP as well as other purchasing-relevant systems.
• You have experience in managing and moderating projects.
• You have excellent communication skills in German and English as well as sensitivity in the formation of intercultural networks. 
• Your outstanding strategic and analytical thinking as well as your curiosity for new things, assertiveness and negotiation skills are what characterize you. 
• You see problem solving as a positive challenge.
• Your high flexibility, ability to work in a team and willingness to travel complete your profile.
