International Procurement Indirects is responsible for the strategic direction and continuous development of the procurement of indirect goods and services at Dr. Oetker. Together with international procurement teams and business functions, we create sustainable value and strengthen our company's competitiveness.
As Executive Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the international Indirects agenda. You will combine strategic leadership, international collaboration and procurement transformation with the ambition of further developing Procurement as a value-adding business partner.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
•    You assume overall responsibility for the strategic direction, development and performance of international strategic and tactical procurement for indirect goods and services. As a member of the international procurement leadership team, you ensure the implementation of defined standards, value contributions and the overarching procurement strategy.
•    Your responsibilities include leading and developing the International Procurement Indirects organization. Together with international Commodity Managers and the wider Indirects team you establish high-performing collaboration, successful execution of impactful category strategies, clear accountabilities and a leadership culture aligned with Dr. Oetker's leadership principles.
•    You continuously advance the International Indirects agenda and deliver sustainable value through strategic demand management, standardization, bundling, digitalization and a forward-looking approach to supplier portfolio management.
•    Furthermore, you manage the performance of the assigned categories, create transparency regarding target achievement and value contribution and establish effective global standards, processes and governance mechanisms.
•    You lead strategic and complex international negotiations and ensure professional supplier relationship management, proactive risk management and effective escalation mechanisms.
•    In addition, you actively contribute to the further development of the International Procurement Indirects organization and its target operating model. In doing so, you establish clear roles, decision-making pathways, governance structures and harmonized ways of working.
•    You build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on an international level.
•    As a strategic business partner, you advise international functions and senior management on investments, make-or-buy decisions, innovation initiatives and business-critical transformation programs.
•    You initiate and lead international and cross-functional projects, represent the procurement perspective in due diligence processes within M&A activities and act as the representative of International Procurement Indirects in relevant steering committees.

WHAT YOU BRING
•    You hold a university degree and are a true procurement expert. You bring many years of international experience and deep expertise in strategic indirect procurement of goods and services and/or commodity management across key and complex indirect spend categories.
•    Ideally, you have a proven track record in leading and developing international teams and are experienced in managing complex matrix organizations. Even without direct disciplinary authority you are able to inspire and mobilize people to achieve shared objectives effectively.
•    You have a strong command of managing complex transformation and change initiatives within international organizations. You combine strategic foresight with strong business acumen and a results-oriented execution mindset.
•    You excel in stakeholder-focused communication at management and executive level, possess outstanding stakeholder management skills and handle conflicting priorities, complex negotiations and escalations with confidence.
•    You think strategically, analytically and solution-oriented, take ownership and constructively challenge existing processes and ways of working. Strong intercultural competence and a collaborative leadership style further distinguish you.
•    You have a solid understanding of digital procurement solutions, integrated Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes as well as data-driven performance management models. Knowledge of SAP MM and BW, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365, would be an advantage.
•    You recognize the potential of Artificial Intelligence and data-driven solutions and leverage them purposefully to advance procurement, improve decision quality and enhance value creation.
•    Fluency in German and English, as well as a willingness to travel internationally, round off your profile.
