YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible for shaping, leading, and continuously advancing the procurement strategy for global and regional commodity groups within our Pizza category. As a member of the International Procurement Board, you will drive the implementation of defined standards, value creation targets, and the overarching procurement strategy.
• You will lead and empower an international team of Category & Commodity Managers, enabling sustainable success, growth, and high performance. In addition, you will foster the professional development of your team members through learning, feedback, recruiting, and talent management, as well as by creating a supportive and performance-driven work environment.
• You provide strategic leadership for the commodity groups and empower your team to develop, evolve, and successfully implement impactful commodity group strategies in close collaboration with international stakeholders
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for global standards, processes, and aligning product categories with current market dynamics and relevant value drivers. You will lead strategic and complex international negotiations, manage critical escalations, and make well-informed decisions even in challenging market environments.
• In addition, you will initiate and lead international, cross-functional projects and participate in due diligence processes as part of M&A activities.
• Value creation is your mission: You’ll identify and implement value engineering initiatives, leverage new technologies and market trends, and evaluate the feasibility of rollouts, line extensions, renovations, and innovation projects within the Portfolio Pizza Team from a procurement perspective.
• You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders worldwide. In addition, you will drive governance topics, actively shape the development of the target operating model, and provide strategic input to relevant steering committees.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You hold a university degree and are an accomplished procurement professional with many years of international experience and proven expertise in strategic procurement or commodity management for key and complex product groups.
• Ideally, you have several years of experience leading international teams. In addition, you are familiar with the demands of a global procurement environment.
• You are proficient in SAP, particularly MM, and modern analytics environments such as BW, Datasphere, or comparable solutions, as well as standard MS365 applications. You are experienced in working within relevant procurement and process structures.
• You leverage artificial intelligence and digital technologies to transform procurement processes, enable data-driven decision-making, and unlock new opportunities for value creation, innovation, and competitiveness.
• You impress with excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a strong team mindset. Your structured thinking and working style clearly set you apart.
• You are highly goal- and solution-oriented, take ownership of your decisions and actions, and combine strong critical thinking with a genuine passion for continuously improving processes, capabilities, and ways of working.
• You are distinguished by strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, a strong affinity for numbers, and intercultural competence. Fluency in German and English, combined with a willingness to travel internationally, completes your profile.
