Within the Data & Processes team of Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG, we provide data & processes management standards and guidelines for our 40 international subsidiaries. We work together with our colleagues from around the world. We ensure that data is accessible, consistent, and structured in a way that supports decision-making and business objectives. This is how we accelerate the digitalization at Dr. Oetker. In this function within the Data & Processes department you are part of the Foundation team, which is responsible for establishing the strategy, governance, processes, and architecture necessary to manage and leverage data effectively within our organization.
As an intern in the International Data & Processes department at Dr. Oetker, you will gain valuable insights into the company and the work of the Data & Processes team.
Ideally, you are available for six months. However, a shorter duration can be considered depending on your availability.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the International Data & Processes department, and the Foundation team, including their roles and responsibilities.
- Support the further development of our process management maturity by conducting process modelling, mapping, and analysis using our process modelling tool.
- Collaborate closely with International Process Experts and Business Architect Teams (BATs) to model end-to-end processes across different departments, sites, and countries.
- Answer questions from various stakeholders regarding process modelling conventions (BPMN 2.0) and the process modelling tool.
- Actively contribute to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives by preparing and modelling automation use cases in close cooperation with the IT Business Process Automation team.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You are an enrolled student (e.g. Business Administration, Business Informatics, Data & Process Management, Computer Science, or a related field of study).
- You are proactive, curious, eager to learn, and comfortable asking clarifying questions.
- You work in an analytical and structured way, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- You have a good understanding of Business Process Management and are familiar with the Microsoft Office suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams).
- You have basic knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and are able to read and create simple process diagrams.
- You have first experience in process modelling, mapping, or analysis (e.g. through coursework or student projects).
- Self‑confidence, high motivation, and solution‑oriented thinking are among your personal strengths.
- You enjoy communicating in an international environment and are comfortable working in English and German.
- Ideally, you are available for six months; however, a shorter duration can be considered depending on your availability.
