DESCRIPTION

Cross-departmental collaboration with national and international colleagues, an assignment abroad, individual placement planning, and the opportunity to develop yourself further and build an extensive network – our 18-month international trainee program will open doors for you. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with our large trainee community! Towards the end of the program, you will work with your fellow trainees on a strategic project, which you’ll present to the management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Start: As an International Finance Trainee with a focus on Controlling, you will start on November 1, 2024 in one of our Controlling teams. Your journey begins with a detailed trainee onboarding and you will have plenty of time to get to know your People and Culture supervisors, your mentor and your colleagues. From then on, you will play an active role in shaping your 18-month trainee program: Choose from positions in Controlling, as well as related national and international functions (such as Accounting, IT, People & Culture and many more).

• Future: You will prepare for your future with us as a professional, project manager or executive through different, responsible assignments in day-to-day business and projects lasting four to twelve weeks. You will contribute your ideas and actively drive the further development of our company.

• International assigment: During an international assignment lasting four to six months, you will get to know one of our subsidiaries, expand your network and gain an even better understanding beyond our headquarters.

• Oetker Group: Would you also like to get a taste of the Oetker Group? Then also enter this door and experience, for example, one of our start-ups at first hand.

• We support you: As part of our trainee community, you have the chance to take part in selected trainings to build on your strengths. You benefit from the network and experience of your mentor, at management level, and your buddy. By the way, you always start together in a group of new trainees. 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Studies: You are a Master's graduate (preferably in the area of finance).

• Experience and knowledge: You have an international mindset and have at least three months' experience abroad. You are fluent in English and German. Furthermore, you have gained initial practical experience through student activities, where you have ideally been able to acquire initial analytical and systems engineering skills. 

• Personality: You are enthusiastic about technical and entrepreneurial contexts and have an interest in entrepreneurship. You also enjoy working on operational issues, using your solution-oriented, methodical way of working and your core analytical skills. You like to leave your comfort zone and strive for personal and professional development. You also impress with your implementation skills and hands-on mentality. You are proactive, goal- and service-oriented. You are characterized by team-oriented and communicative skills - you are a networker.
