The Lead Architect Data & AI at Dr. Oetker creates and executes a comprehensive vision for the company's enterprise architecture, focusing on data management, artificial intelligence, and system integration. In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, the Lead Architect will refine and progress the Enterprise Data Model. The position is also responsible for devising and applying a data integration strategy, setting enterprise-wide data architecture and integration standards, and establishing a governance framework. Critical functions include assessing business requirements, optimizing the data management and integration technology stack, and providing high-level advice to project teams on integration and architectural practices. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the Enterprise Architecture vision for Dr. Oetker’s overarching data, AI, and integration landscape, creating the target architecture and roadmap based on the company’s business goals and the IT Strategy.
• Technical leadership of the Data Management team in the international IT department.
• Enable data transparency, data governance, data quality, and data integration across applications and processes. Work on and continuously improve the Dr. Oetker’s Enterprise Data Model.
• Create and execute Dr. Oetker’s data integration strategy and develop enterprise-wide data architecture & integration standards, and governance framework.
• Define and implement a framework and supporting architecture that enables Dr. Oetker to leverage benefits from the usage of different AI technologies like Generative AI or Machine Learning.
• Evaluate and modernize the current data management & integration technology stack and develop as well as maintain the landscape in accordance with the vision and business needs.
• Provide expert advice and best practices to project teams on use of AI, integration technology, data architecture and modeling, as well as system architecture.
• Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications.
• Oversee critical steps within the application lifecycle that impact enterprise-wide architecture standards.
• Gather business requirements and support to prioritize them based on business impact/value and feasibility. 
• Help to set up the Sustainability Architecture of tomorrow holistically across all Architecture layers (Process, Data, Application, Technology). 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Degree in business informatics or economics with IT-related further education or IT vocational training. 
• 7+ years of professional experience as a solution or enterprise architect in complex, heterogeneous application and technology landscapes. 
• Knowledge in the areas of Enterprise Architecture Management and current Business & IT Architectures, including integration architecture, data architecture, frameworks, and practices. A TOGAF Certification is a plus. 
• Experiences in the area of application and data architecture as well as integration topics. Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including APIs from commercial software applications, such as CRM or ERP systems.
• Deep Knowledge in the area of Data Management, including Data Definition & Transparency, Data Cataloging, Data Governance & Quality, Data Integration, Exchange & Provisioning 
• Knowledge in Data Science, common AI technologies, and Data Engineering.
• Experiences in the FMCG industry, Supply Chain processes, Sustainability data & reporting and SAP System landscapes are welcome. 
• Open and curious with regards to new technology trends and pragmatism in evaluating them with regards to business value and feasibility. 
• Very good knowledge in the areas of demand management as well as good knowledge in change- as well as project management. 
• Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
• Very good communication, moderation and presentation skills paired with very good negotiation skills in written and spoken English and German are essential for this position.
• Entrepreneurial and holistic thinking are complemented by your high level of commitment and assertiveness as well as the capability of dealing with complex topics. 
• Experience in a leadership role.
