As part of our international Sustainability team at Dr. Oetker, you will play a key role in bringing our sustainability strategy to life. You will create the data transparency and insights needed to steer progress across our international organisation, helping us turn ambitious goals into tangible results.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
-
You will manage and further develop our internal and external sustainability and ESG reporting processes, including key requirements such as CCF, CDP, ACOP, GHG-related reporting and ESRS-related data needs.
-
Acting as a central interface, you will collaborate closely with international markets and corporate functions such as Public Affairs, Procurement, R&D, Quality Assurance and IT to ensure consistent, high-quality sustainability data.
-
You will define, implement and continuously improve data-driven monitoring of sustainability activities, ensuring transparency, availability and reliability of relevant KPIs for management and project steering.
-
By analysing sustainability indicators and performance metrics, you will derive actionable insights, consolidate results from international studies and support the translation of data into clear business implications.
-
You will further develop our database-driven sustainability reporting system, including front- (dashboards) and back-end (SAP BW / Datasphere) developments, data quality processes, and oversee data-related aspects of CO₂ calculations and audit-related inquiries.
-
You will support sustainability projects and initiatives by providing reliable data, clear reporting logic and pragmatic guidance to business units and international subsidiaries.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
You hold a university degree in a relevant field such as business administration, sustainability management, environmental sciences, computer science, data analytics, controlling or a comparable discipline.
-
You bring experience in working with complex data and reporting processes — ideally in sustainability, ESG reporting, carbon accounting, life cycle assessments, sustainable packaging or financial reporting/controlling.
-
You are familiar with common sustainability standards and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, CSRD/ESRS or CDP, or you are motivated to quickly build deep expertise in these areas.
-
You are confident in handling complex datasets, translating them into clear insights, and presenting them in a target group–oriented and visually compelling way.
