As Team Procurement Excellence, we consistently drive forward the further development of our international purchasing organization and always keep an eye on the future of purchasing. We support and challenge our global procurement community of over 150 colleagues, promote transparency and cooperation, and provide impetus for sustainable improvements. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Project Manager Procurement (m/f/d), you will actively shape the strategic development of the international purchasing organization, working closely with the purchasing board and internal and external stakeholders.
- You will prepare and coordinate strategic international purchasing and cross-functional projects and take on (partial) management responsibility for them, from structured project initiation to sustainable implementation.
- You will analyze and further develop international purchasing processes, identify potential for optimization, and consistently drive forward their sustainable implementation.
- You actively promote the introduction and use of AI-based and/or digital solutions in purchasing, evaluate their added value for processes, transparency, and efficiency, and support teams in the successful application of new technologies.
- You actively shape change processes, build acceptance for new ways of working, and support colleagues in implementing transformation in purchasing in a constructive and sustainable manner.
- With your strong process, analytical, and methodological skills, you will support departments on an equal footing, ensure access to relevant information, tools, and methods, and accompany change processes with appropriate change management initiatives.
- You plan, facilitate, and conduct internal workshops and other exchange and information formats within the international purchasing organization, ensuring professional, transparent, and inspiring communication.
- In addition, you will observe relevant future trends and innovations in the field of procurement and use them to derive ideas for further development.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have successfully completed a university degree and have several years of practical experience in strategic purchasing, supply chain management, corporate strategy, or management consulting, and you have extensive experience in independent project work.
- You think strategically and entrepreneurially, impress with your strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers, and combine a structured approach to work with a pragmatic focus on solutions.
- You are distinguished by your strong communication skills and flexibility, while also demonstrating a high degree of teamwork, intercultural competence, and assertiveness.
- You have experience in change management, actively shape change processes, and are able to confidently guide colleagues through transformations.
- You have experience in designing, preparing, and professionally moderating workshops and exchange formats, and you ensure that these lead to clear results and genuine improvements.
- You have a high level of digital literacy and an affinity for new technologies, ideally including AI-supported solutions, and you use innovation in a targeted manner to further develop the organization.
- You present yourself confidently, facilitate teams in a focused manner, and are able to constructively integrate different perspectives, involve stakeholders in a targeted way, and clearly structure and convincingly communicate complex topics.
- You are fluent in German and English, have in-depth knowledge of SAP and BW, and are willing to travel internationally.
