YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for 2x Interim Marketing Assistants to join our Marketing Team in the Cake channel. Both roles are for a fixed term period of 12 months from June 2024.

One role will report into the Senior Product & Innovation Manager focussing on product innovation and renovation projects including new product artwork and changes to existing artwork, attendance at relevant new product development (NPD) meetings, providing administrative assistance to the wider cake team and ownership of a baking subcategory to manage through the total brand review process.

The second role will report into the Brand Communications Manager, with a focus on providing support on media and communications campaigns for our exciting Cake brands, internal and external PR (including press releases, trade advertisements and head office events), shopper marketing and administrative assistance to the wider cake team. Some experience or knowledge of PR, creative content design and copywriting is desirable, and basic design skills including Adobe suite are a bonus for this role.

WHAT YOU BRING 

• Experience of working within a branded environment with strong commercial awareness.    
• Data interpretation and analytical skills.
• Creative, innovative & proactive approach to tasks.
• IT literate, ability to use Microsoft Office packages particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Passion for marketing and keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
