YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product & Innovation Manager to join our Cake Marketing Team. This is an interim role to cover maternity leave, we’re ideally looking for someone to join us in March 2026 for 12 months.

We’re looking for a bold, commercially savvy leader who thrives on turning insight into innovation. You’ll shape the future of our cake portfolio by building a pipeline of category-leading products that excite consumers and strengthen our market position. From managing a diverse portfolio and spotting growth opportunities to steering cross-functional projects through our gate process, you’ll be the driving force behind our innovation agenda. Along the way, you’ll inspire and coach a talented team, influence stakeholders across the business, and ensure our brands stay ahead of the curve.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven experience in developing and managing a portfolio of products, from understanding market performance to managing profitability and life cycle.
• An understanding of how to get to meaningful consumer insights, and how to turn those insights into category leading innovation.
• Able to use both data and research to shape projects, build business cases and create compelling sell in stories for retailers.
• A can do attitude and positive outlook with the ability to problem solve and influence key stakeholders and departments within the business.
• Bring out the best in your team through strong leadership, mentoring, motivation and a passion for innovation.

The role will be based from our Leeds Head Office (Thorpe Park, Leeds) and we are currently working to a hybrid working model where 2/3 days per week are home working. You do need to be able to commute to our Leeds Head Office, Leyland Production site and other external locations for face to face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
