Multi-Skilled Engineer Mon-Fri rotating am/pm shifts (plus 1 Weekend in 4)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be part of a dedicated Engineering maintenance team, ensuring the smooth running of all machinery in the production area.
• Providing pro-active and reactive engineering cover to maintain and improve the performance of the plant.
• Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks,
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting equipment issues,
• Assist with root cause analysis to promote future reliability
• Proactive involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Uphold high standards in GMP, Food Safety and  Health & Safety, to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
• Keep your skills updated to the latest available technologies available.

The rotating shift pattern.

Week 1; Mon – Fri  05.45-14.15.

Week 2; Mon- Fri    13.45-22.15.

Working 1 in 4 weekends (paid as overtime x1.5 and x2)

Annual salary range.

 £47,314 - £51,186 (including weekend overtime), starting salary is dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Educated to HNC, HND or degree Level or equivalent and apprenticeship time served,
• At least 2 years of engineering experience post apprenticeship, ideally served within an FMCG hygienic production environment.
• Technologically savvy to enable full use of  the CMMS systems, Microsoft 365, SAP parts booking and shop floor ipads.

In addition you must be able to:

• Apply an  analytical and systematic approach to working with a desire to solve problems.
• To Work within a rapidly changing environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Make timely decisions and have a drive for improvement.
• Communicate with a personable and professional manner
• Work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Demonstrate excellent planning, organisational skills and good time management
