What’s the role?


The Leyland Facility is where the Chicago Town Pizzas started over 30 years ago. We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our state-of-the-art production facility and play a key role in our a dedicated Engineering team who are proudly making the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas.


This role would ensure the smooth running of all machinery in the production area, leading as the technical expert on shift and applying all knowledge to resolve problems safely and efficiently.

Who we are looking for?


At Dr Oetker we believe that our employees play a key role in our success. To help shape our future you will ideally be educated to HNC Level or equivalent and be apprenticeship time served with an analytical and systematic approach to working whilst being computer literate and able to use software packages (Excel, Word, CMMS etc).


Reporting to the engineering manager you will ensure that activities on shift are prioritised and allocate resource accordingly. Ideally you will be trained in IOSH Managing Safely and to a Level 3 Food Safety Standard, although training will be provided to achieve these qualifications if required.


A confident communicator with a personable and professional manner, you will have the ability to interact and relate to all levels of colleagues and to build strong trusted working relationships, whilst also having the ability to work on your own initiative.


The ability to work within a rapidly changing environment and remain calm under pressure is key, as is excellent planning and organisational skills and good time management
