Export Logistics Administrator- 12 Month Contract

 

  

Dr. Oetker is a state-of-the-art Pizza Production Facility in London, Ontario. With our Head Quarters in Germany, and operations in over 40 countries around the world, we are an international company with deep family roots dating back to 1891. Our London facility which employees about 300 associates was built in 2014 and showcases modern, highly automated, high volume production lines where we produce Ristorante, Casa di Mama and Giuseppe pizzas under the Dr. Oetker label.

 

In our facility, we start with raw materials such as flour and yeast to make a great pizza crust, topping with sauce and ingredients to make a fantastic, finished pizza and then freezing and packaging the pizzas for retail distribution. The Export Logistics Administrator you will work within a team of Quality associates in conjunction with Logistics and Production that produces the highest quality Dr. Oetker pizza where food safety and security are of the utmost importance.

 

This is an onsite role based out of our London Facility, working Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is essential to align with production schedules and business needs.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Document Specialist with the QA department you will: 

  • Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end export process, including monitoring the production export activities, liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other external service providers.
  • Prepare documents, including export documents from raw material to finished goods.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all required international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Production to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with with diverse external partners such as Supply Chain, CFIA, External Warehouses, Global transport and logistics companies and International providers
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date shipment records, ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and relevant international trade regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of export operations.
  • Identify and address potential issues in the supply chain, escalating where necessary.
  • Resolve shipment-related conflicts with a solutions-focused, customer-service mindset.
  • Flexibility in hours are required as start and end times may vary based on operational needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Your Strengths:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and sharp attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and competing priorities.
  • Post Secondary Education in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • SAP, and export experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Self-starter with the confidence to bring forward issues and propose solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with proven conflict resolution abilities

 

 

The expected base salary range for this position is CAD $45,000 to CAD $55,000 depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget
