Your Future:
• Inspecting and testing incoming ingredients, finished goods, and packaging materials. 

• All analysis will be completed according to approved methods utilizing an implemented SAP QM program for chemical, physical, microbiological, and sensory parameters.
• Complete QA checks on the production line and monitor production to ensure our quality and food safety program requirements are met (HACCP, FSSC, PrP, GMPs).
• Responsible for completing allergen testing on finished products and/or swabbing lines.
• Support Food Safety Programs by conducting environmental testing, sanitation validation, pre-requisite program monitoring tasks and record review.
• Report and record any production/ingredient/product deviations.
• Support the Food Safety Management and Quality Management Systems by participating and preparing in internal and external audits.


Your Strengths:
• Completed a University degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or a College Diploma within a related field.
• 1-3 years' experience working in a food manufacturing and/or lab environment.
• good sensory abilities with all food types (sight, smell, taste, touch).
• Ability to follow recipes, cooking preparation instructions and consume various foods (including animal, dairy, allergenic ingredients).
• Experience with food laboratory equipment and testing methodology used for food manufacturing plants would be preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with plant employees, department supervisors and/or managers, work independently, precisely and with initiative in a high paced environment.
• Have excellent attention to detail, with a compliance mindset.
• Ability to multitask with an emphasis on time management.
• Have excellent English writing and reading ability.
• Have computer skills and experience (Microsoft 365); knowledge of SAP program would be beneficial.
• You can stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to support off shifts, work overtime and weekends as needed.

• This role is an afternoon shift, working from 3pm to 11:30pm.
