YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing and controlling daily and periodic accounting transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, etc. ) and reconciliations.

Performing tax reports

Performing month-end and year-end closing activities

Managing internal and external audit activities

Performing and managing the accounting recordings by checking the compliance to legal laws and company guidelines

Keeping informed about current legislation related to accounting

Managing the team in all kind of accounting related issues when needed

Ensuring an effective and accurate accounting management.

WHAT YOU BRING

University degree in Economics, Business Administration or related fields

Solid knowledge of tax, bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations

Proven work experience in Accounting role

At least 8 years experience in Accounting area and 5 years of team management experience

Fluent written and spoken English

Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between Finance, Accounting & Tax

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills as a relationship builder (internal and external)

Self-motivation and positive attitude with high level of energy

Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data

Attention to details and accuracy

Ability to prioritize work

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Multi-tasking and working under pressure with deadlines

Result-oriented and strong ability of problem solving

Demonstrate a strong commitment to personal learning and development; act as a brand ambassador

Ability to bring creativity to the position while striving for continuous improvement

Proficiency in MS Office applications and in SAP particularly FI-AA Module

Knowledge on German Accounting Standards is an asset

Accounting certification is required.

Career start in audit is an asset.

Finance experience is an asset.
