Job Summary

Do you have a passion for getting inside the minds of Consumers? A curiosity and passion for analytics? Reporting to the Manager of Consumer Insights & Analytics, you will be a key partner to Wilton’s Marketing (Consumer Business Unit) team, driving consumer centricity and influencing decision making through actionable insights that ultimately drive growth opportunities for Wilton! Bring your strong communication skills and nurture close working relationships with key cross-functional groups such as Category Management, Consumer Business Units, Marketing, and Sales.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing insights, segments & moments framework and syndicated data to drive consumer centricity across the organization.
  • Establish and grow foundational knowledge base around the category, consumer and occasions.
  • Execute primary research projects to support the learning plan and key business questions.
  • Provide analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources in support of business decisions.
  • Use standard or ad hoc queries or reports to extract data from disparate databases or data sources.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience leading and executing a variety of primary research methods on the client side; we encourage vendor-side candidates as well.
  • Demonstrated experience in consumer insights.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Management of multiple projects at a time (timeline development, task completion, delivery of projects on time).
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Possesses ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
  • Self-starter who possesses a desire to work independently with an innate ability to problem-solve challenges and utilize resources as needed.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills.  Qualtrics and SPSS skills are a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented and quality conscious.
  • Strong statistical and technical knowledge.

 

Physical Demands

  • Professional office environment, sedentary in nature.
  • Routinely use standard office equipment such as (laptop computers, monitors/keyboards, printers, and telephones).
  • Processes information and communicates effectively with others.
