Job Summary 

Wilton Brands has an immediate opening for a Product Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Director, Consumer Business Unit (CBU), this is a critical role that is accountable for supporting the various CBUs across the portfolio. This role will assist Brand & Product Managers/Associates in item setup and master data governance, to help ensure the integrity of our portfolio data. Additionally, the Product Marketing Coordinator will support the Brand & Product teams in day-to-day process support ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Become the CBU team’s Subject Matter Expert on Agile and maintain master data integrity 
    • Support the CBU in initiating change orders or supporting new item set up and other Agile-related tasks in effort to keep our master data correct and up-to-date through product and supplier changes 
    • Identify and support opportunities to streamline system and approval processes  
    • Execute monthly monitoring on portfolio data to identify inaccuracies and follows up with cross functionals to find resolutions 
  • Support processes for product commercialization and product life cycle management which includes: 
    • On time and accurate completion of all product data, line lists, product information management set-up, change requests submission for approvals and all other activities to support product life cycle management. 
    • Supports product development (inclusive of product, pack structure, pack graphics, CDUs) from inception to shelf, including revisions. 
    • Assists in managing line/assortment lists, sales samples/comps, trackers, ensuring accuracy. 
    • Run ad-hoc reports and analyze data as needed.  
  • Manage marketing and sales requests and needs:  
    • Collect, organize and submit samples for sales, photography for website, and digital content. 
    • Submit packaging requests and review product packaging proofs.  
    • Collaborate with sales to manage product specification forms for retailers.  Provide accurate information required in a timely manner. 
    • Responsible for knowledge and understanding of category marketplace through competitive analysis and retail audits.   

 

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS a must in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar relevance.  
  • 2-3+ years in a related role working with internal teams on marketing initiatives, master data management, cross functional processes and related systems, aged goods, inclusive of product concept and positioning development, sourcing and project management. 
  • Experience working within detailed project management timelines to effectively complete tasks. 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Word required. Experience with Master Data Systems (Agile), Product Information Management (Workfront), SAP, and Adobe a plus. 
  • Experience working with GTINs, UPCs and GS1 standards a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Professional office environment, sedentary in nature.
  • Routinely use standard office equipment such as (laptop computers, monitors/keyboards, printers, and telephones).
