Description 

Are you passionate about using financial insights to shape strategy and drive sustainable growth? Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, the Sr. Financial Analyst provides strategic financial support to the Sales and Marketing teams. You will be responsible for supporting Sales and Marketing to create, develop, and deliver the Strategic and Operating Plan targets in terms of growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include analyzing customer and product profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing support. This role also includes a significant amount of ad hoc analysis and support to enable the success of the broader commercial organization. 

 

Ingredients

  • Assist in financial responsibilities related to Sales & Marketing functions.
  • Major contributor to annual financial planning, mid-term forecasting, and strategic planning processes through review and analysis, and in the preparation of presentations for Senior Management and owners.
  • Support the daily, weekly and monthly financial analysis required to aid the commercial functions, and partner with functions for the explanation of variances from plan to actual.
  • Design and maintain financial modeling through SAP to support financial planning, forecasting, and month end reporting.
  • Evaluate margins, margin trends, and pricing in preparation of launching products into new and existing markets.  Add value to the business via creating maximum insight into the financial performance.  Provide sound financial analysis that accompanies the investment programs.

 

Equipment

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or Accounting.
  • Prior CPG experience preferred. 

 

Instructions 

  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required.
  • Experience with SAP and Power Bi highly preferred.
  • Financial Systems, Process Development and Implementation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to develop & maintain relationships while collaborating cross-functionally within areas of the business.

Baking Conditions 

  • Professional office environment, sedentary in nature.
  • Routinely use standard office equipment such as (laptop computers, monitors/keyboards, printers, and telephones).
  • Processes information and communicates effectively with others.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
