Job Summary

Are you a strategic, critical thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for driving performance and delivering meaningful impact within an organization?  As Senior Manager, End-to-End Planning, you will be instrumental in driving optimal performance within Wilton’s forecast and inventory management strategy while managing a team of Demand Planners, Supply Planners, and Inventory Specialists. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Services, this role oversees ongoing forecast model enhancements and formulating effective and efficient demand plans to improve service delivery performance targets.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing to optimize sales and demand planning, inventory management, and overall business performance.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team to exceed KPIs (i.e., Forecast Accuracy & Bias, Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, Weeks of Supply, etc.) and build robust business processes to support the flow of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing team by cultivating and amplifying individual and team strengths.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing unconstrained forecasts against the constrained supply plan to meet product demand and inventory targets.
  • Responsible for critical monthly S&OP meetings, processes, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and future events that may impact the results of numbers while providing a realistic scenario for demand.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and transform business processes to support company initiatives.
  • Support the internal and external Data Science team to utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as optimization of time series models, simulation, and predictive analytics, to optimize supply chain network design, transportation routing, and capacity planning.
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing inventory levels and service while escalating potential mitigation for priority SKUs and customers.
  • Support operational activities related to the implementation or upgrade of supply chain leveraged systems while collaborating cross-functionally acting as the subject matter expert to ensure coherent data governance and process improvement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years’  related experience in forecasting, buying or planning required, preferably in a consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing, developing, and coaching a team of direct reports.
  • Experience with supply chain planning and forecasting systems, ERP systems, and data management tools and MRP
  • Capabilities integrating Demand and Supply Planning with Sales, Marketing, Production/Engineering, and other business support functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and improving S&OP and S&OE processes.
  • Ability to conduct S&OP meetings and critical processes within a monthly cycle.
  • Hands-on with key Inventory Reporting metrics such as, Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Fill Rate, Weeks of Supply, etc.
  • Previous experience in managing end of life cycle and obsolete inventory.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally or on large-scale initiatives.
  • Possess a high level of initiative and drive towards driving efficiency and cost saving results.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office as this position requires extensive use of Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and organize large amount of data using Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, and other related tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skill sand the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage large datasets with a willingness to learn and leverage new tools.
  • Knowledge of standard supply chain processes, product life cycle, product-phase-out processes, SKU rationalization, inventory health, etc.
  • Demonstrates leadership in guiding teams and managing business partners.
  • Skilled in investigating complex issues and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Efficient organization and clear and concise presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to develop relationships with other areas of the business particularly the Sales, Sourcing, Operations, Finance and Marketing teams.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
