Job Summary

The Supply Chain Program Manager facilitates and oversees seasonal programs and critical department initiatives. You will spend around 70% of your time focused on seasonal holiday program execution and 30% on various projects supporting supply chain operations. This role is crucial to ensuring the successful execution of supply chain programs and initiatives within the organization by effectively managing timelines, facilitating decision-making, and escalation to leadership as needed.


This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Service Operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing to respond to continuous change and challenges within a fast-paced environment. This person has a passion for organization, process improvement & connecting teams.
 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Create and manage timelines for seasonal programs, department initiatives, and other supply chain projects. 
  • Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that resources are allocated in a way that optimizes project delivery.  
  • Ensure that programs are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. 
  • Address stakeholder concerns and expectations through proactive communication and collaboration. 
  • Seasonal Program Management:
    • Validate attainability of timelines.
    • Manage resource availability & allocation
    • Develop a plans to monitor & track progress across Supply Chain Teams
    • Measure performance & budget associated with programs using appropriate tools & techniques 
    • Provide status updates on a consistent basis to stakeholders & leaders
    • Perform risk management to minimize exposure
  • Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize project outcomes. 
  • Escalate critical risks or issues to senior leadership with proposed solutions for resolution. Ensuring project requests and priorities remain consistent with the organizational strategy. 
  • Conduct program and & project postmortems & create recommendations to identify successful & unsuccessful elements.
  • Evaluate project performance against key metrics and KPIs to access progress and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Generate reports and analysis to support decision-making and provide visibility into project performance. 
  • Use & continually develop leadership skills. 

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3+ years’ experience working within supply chain 
  • Experience with project management systems, software, & methodology. 
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems 
  • Experience independently managing programs.
  • Experience working with senior business leaders.
